Just wanted to thank two special gals in Edmonton for the excellent service they’ve given me over the years. Michelle and Carla. Century casino is very lucky to have them working there. They always have a friendly smile for me when I show up for my breakfast on Wednesdays. You girls are the Greatest! Thanks!

I wouldn’t recommend the chop burger but! I would recommend the steak bites.

We went for a Friday night dinner at the Chop Steakhouse(Downtown) located at the Sutton place hotel in Edmonton,Ab. We arrived around 10:45 PM And there was only one other party dining upon our arrival. We waited about 10 mins and finally someone came out of the back and gave us a very pleasant greeting. The young man tried to seat us in a booth that couldn’t accommodate a party of eight So he took us to a small room that had a large table that could easily accommodate up to 10 people. The waiter arrive and was very polite and helpful. We started with a appetizer of what is called steak bites,and they were wonderful!..cooked To perfection and full of beefy juicy goodness that makes your mouth sing with delight at each bite. If this is any indication of how tasty their steaks are…You’ll Feel like you’re in heaven if you order one. I will give the steak bites a five star. They also brought us a lovely fresh loaf of bread that we enjoyed. For my main course I ordered the chop burger and fries. I have to be truthful sorry! But I have to give it a two star because the fries were greasy and undercooked,and the beef didn’t taste like I was eating a nice piece of meaty ground beef,it was too soft, and the texture was like it had some liver pâté in between the beef patty.The relish was very nice,I was disappointed that they didn’t have French’s regular mustard. I wouldn’t recommend the chop burger but! I would recommend the steak bites.

Barbecue Beef Ribs

 

Barbecue Beer Ribs

1 can beer
1/2 cup soy bean sauce
2 tsp honey
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 tsp Garlic powder

1 Package boneless country-style beef or pork  ribs,Don’t trim the fat.

Add all the ingredients into a old ice cream pail. Refrigerate for 12 hours.

Throw the ribs on the grill until done.

Makes 6 servings.
