Here is the Easiest Way To Make Great BBQ Ribs

Here is the Easiest Way To Make Great BBQ Ribs
Making great BBQ ribs can be a delicious and rewarding experience. Here's a simple and easy method for making tasty BBQ ribs: ### Ingredients: - 1 or 2 racks of baby back ribs - Your favorite BBQ rub (store-bought or homemade) - BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade) ### Instructions: 1. **Prepare the Ribs:** - Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor penetration. Use a knife to loosen the membrane at one end, then grab it with a paper towel and peel it off. 2. **Apply the Rub:** - Generously coat both sides of the ribs with your chosen BBQ rub. Make sure to rub the seasoning into the meat for better flavor. If you have time, let the ribs sit with the rub on for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate. 3. **Set up the Grill or Smoker:** - Preheat your grill or smoker to a temperature of about 225-250°F (107-121°C). Use a combination of charcoal and wood chips for added flavor. If using a gas grill, set up a two-zone cooking area. 4. **Cooking the Ribs:** - Place the ribs on the indirect heat side of the grill or smoker. Close the lid and let them cook for 2.5 to 3 hours. This slow cooking at a low temperature helps render the fat and tenderize the meat. 5. **Wrap in Foil (Optional):** - After the initial cooking period, you can wrap the ribs in foil with a little liquid (such as apple juice or a marinade) to help them steam and become even more tender. Cook for an additional 1 to 1.5 hours. 6. **Sauce and Finish:** - Unwrap the ribs and brush them with your favorite BBQ sauce. Move them to the direct heat side of the grill and cook for an additional 15-30 minutes, basting with sauce and flipping occasionally, until the ribs develop a nice caramelized coating. 7. **Rest and Serve:** - Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat. Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side. Remember, cooking times may vary depending on your equipment, so use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature of the ribs reaches about 190-203°F (88-95°C) for optimal tenderness. Adjust cooking times and temperatures as needed based on your specific setup and preferences. This tasty recipe idea was brought to you by The BBQ KING at bbqsecrets.ca and #foodedmontondining
